Why is this important?

Thousands of our First Responders who survived that day and then stayed for weeks and months supporting the recovery effort are now facing a new tragedy.
Thousands of our First Responders are now suffering critical health issues as a consequence of their heroic actions.
They suffer from respiratory diseases, various forms of cancer (including leukemia and mesothelioma), and other debilitating illnesses.
Many of the Responders lack adequate health insurance, so many are not receiving adequate care and many are struggling financially.

We are the 2nd Responders!

We have a social responsibility! It is now our turn to acknowledge their service and heroism by raising funds and expanding awareness around the health issues that our 9/11 Responders are facing.
